Bayern v Arsenal

Neither team are in the best form but I can’t see Arsenal taking anything from Munich tonight. After all, Bayern ran out 5-1 winners in the same fixture last season. I can’t see that happening again, but the German’s quality should shine through on the night.

Lay Arsenal £121.06 at odds 1.11

Back Bayern to qualify 1.35

Decided to add something a little different and go for the second bet. Really can’t see Arsenal troubling the Germans over two legs.

Update Bayern did repeat and won 5-1 New Bank £1,358.39

Update 2 Traded to qualify bet back at 1.02 New Bank £1,401.18

Bournemouth v Man City

Man City have never lost to Bournemouth in a league game, I hope and expect that to continue tonight.

Man City have plenty of attacking options and Bournemouth have players missing from an already leaky defence.

Lay Bournemouth £119.98 at odds 1.1

Hopefully we’ll see an entertaining match with City reclaiming second spot in the table at the end.

Update Man City win 2-0 New Bank £1,345.08

Burnley v Chelsea

For reasons that I can’t quite put my finger on, I don’t like betting on the underdog, even when the bookies give away a large handicap, as they have done today. Even so, I can’t turn down the 4 goal head start Burnley have been given today.

While I fully expect a Chesea win (which is reflected by the odds) I couldn’t take the 1.08 that is on offer for Chelsea to win or draw. Burnley have the third best home record in the league, and aren’t exactly whipping boys away from home, so to be offered 1.08 to avoid a heavy defeat, I had to get involved.

Burnley +4 £119.12 at odds 1.08

Update Finished 1-1 New Bank £1,333.08

Wolves v Newcastle

Evening action from Molineux where Wolves take on Newcastle who are looking to retake top spot in The Championship; I fancy them to do just that, with a win.

One goal or more £117.21 at odds 1.095

Championship top scorer Dwight Gayle is missing, but there should still be enough attacking options on the pitch.

Update Newcastle win 1-0 New Bank £1,313.44

Sunderland v Southampton

I don’t like doing this, but I’m going to have to start the post with an aftertime bet. I had layed Hull in their game against Arsenal earlier today, but I couldn’t get to the computer to write it up.

Arsenal won fairly comfortably 2-0 to bring the new bank to £1,292.05

Now for this afternoon’s bet. I fancy at least one goal in the match taking place at the Stadium of Light. With Defoe on he pitch there will always be chances; I just hope that hope transforms into reality.

One goal or more £122.75 at odds 1.0835

Plenty of attacking options should provide a few goals today.

Update Southampton win 4-0 New Bank £1,302.30

Leicester v Derby

After the first tie finished 2-2, the replay comes to Leicester. I’m not sure if either team will really welcome a replay with both teams focusing on upcoming games, but I am sure both teams will want to put one over each other.

One goal or more £120.70 at odds 1.095

Not much to say other than I fancy goals to be on the cards.

Update early second half goal New Bank £1,281.95

Barcelona

First bet from Spain comes from the semi final second leg at the Nou Camp. Barcelona are without Neymar but they still have the deadly duo of Messi and Suarez upfront.

Lay Atletico Madrid v Barcelona £118.56 at odds 1.19

Barcelona lead 2-1 from the first leg and haven’t lost at home to Atletico since 2006

Update Barcelona draw 1-1 New Bank £1,270.48

Leicester V Man Utd

Not much time to write a lot. Fancy plenty of goals in the last PL game of the weekend. Man Utd looking to chase down Liverpool, while Leicester are looking to put some space between themselves and the relegation zone.

One goal or more £117.71 at odds 1.076

Should be an entertaining match!

Update Man Utd stroll home 3-0 New Bank £1,297.96

Man City v Swansea

Early kick off today comes from the Etihad. Man City can be a little unpredictable, but you would expect them to take care of a Swansea side sitting near the bottom of the table.

Lay Swansea £117.03 at odds 1.0605

Aguero not starting, but City should still have far too much firepower for this Swansea side. Swansea have lost all 5 premier league visits to the Etihad; I expect that to be 6 later today.

Update Man City Win 2-1 New Bank £1,239.01

Not as easy as expected, but limped over the line. Not sure City are to be trusted to win easily
